Arnhem Land Eco-Cultural Tours is Aboriginal owned and operated. The traditional land owners invite you to spend time gathering bush tucker, visiting exclusive rock art sites, learning about traditional hunting methods and collecting materials to make art work. All tours are guided by local Indigenous hosts.
Maningrida lies 500km east of Darwin and is situated at the mouth of the Liverpool River in Central Arnhem Land. Maningrida is a one hour flight from Darwin via Airnorth airlines.
Your Aboriginal hosts are eager to share their story with you, and to have you join them as they hunt and gather bush tucker, collect the raw materials for weaving, painting and carving whilst learning about the stunning landscape and the wildlife that inhabit the region. Your Aboriginal hosts will also guide you to exclusive rock art sites where you will see ancient relics and art work dating back over 10,000 years.
