Kudjidmi by Noah Wurrkidj

Kudjidmi

This work depicts Kudjidmi, a wetland area belonging to the Darnkolo clan near Barridjowkeng outstation. There are three small waterholes and one larger one in the area, as well as a creek which is depicted at the top of the work as a crescent shape. It is the artist’s paternal grandmother’s country and therefore he is djungkay for this site and has authority to depict aspects of it in his work.
